As a fiber artist, I use what the fabric tells me to create my art work. The collage quilts are either mounted on foam core and hung like any other type of art, occasionally hung banner-style with a rod through a sleeve. I use frames where appropriate, but I frequently like to use the organic shape as suggested by the art.
Quilted art work, as wall hangings, on handbags, totebags, lunchbags, go into the “Collage” category, and “Etc.” covers everything else, like my knit hats.
Almost all of my work is available as 8″ x 10″ prints and note cards, as well as the original (to the first customer!) which can be ordered from the descriptive page provided for each collage piece.
