Tobi Collage Etc.
As a fiber artist, I use what the fabric tells me to create my art work. The collages are either mounted on foam core
and hung like any other type of art, or occasionally hung banner-style with a rod through a sleeve. I use frames where appropriate, but
more and more, I like to use the organic shape as suggested by the art.
Quilted art work, as wall hangings, on handbags, totebags, lunchbags, vests, go into the "Collage" category,
and "Etc." covers everything else, like stuffed animals and hats.
Almost all of my work is available as matted prints and as note cards, which can be ordered from the descriptive page provided for
each collage piece.
The Big Tree
Not exactly recent work, but this is the tree that has come home this fall! It was a commission piece made in 2008, for a room that now does
not have space for it. You can check out its story by clicking on it.
It is now up on a wall in the Metrowest Medical Center, near the cafeteria, along with 20 other of my more recent
pieces.
