Leaves of Blue

Description

The one fabric that is new to my stash is that which contributed to the tree, and the rest of the picture coalesced around that. Those blue leaves came from the scraps left after making my husband a shirt, and incorporating them into art was only a matter of time to get to it! The trunk had to be gently coaxed into that curve.

I used some seed beads in the foreground, and a few rock beads on the sides. The blue sky area is framed with clear beads.
