I received a request this summer from Cocker Spaniel Rescue of New England, asking for the donation of one of my stuffed animal dogs for a fund raiser, which I readily agreed to do. Going to their web site, I was drawn to the various photos of the dogs, and asked for a couple of photos to work from for a collage piece. This is the result.

The background is fabric that I've had for over 20 years, and the border is home dec fabric I bought in the last months of the Fabric Place store. The fur on the ears came from an ornamental tassle which I deconstructed, and the fur on the body is eyelash yarn.
