These were inspired originally by the dramatic turquoise ocean wave fabric, which Curt got for me, along with the leaf fabric that went into the trees. By coincidence, that same summer of '96, I had gotten the wood grain fabric to make a shirt for him. The science-fiction-y sky had gone into the vest part of a blouse/vest that I had made for myself, and I made a summer top from the wave material and a shirt from the leaf pattern. They were meant as placemats for my parents, but never were used as such; they hung them on a wall of their apartment. Sorry, these are not for sale!
