Ode to Roses

Description

With my last two completed pieces being so dark, Ode to Roses is a complete change of pace! This came about on the day I sat down to discover a plethora of rose and other floral fabrics in the bag I bring to the Open Guild Room art day. So a few roses grew here, a couple more there, and a path winding through the garden beds, and eventually a flowery lace overlay on the path, with a scattering of rose quartz pebble beads, once the piece was sewn down.
