Sunflowers

Description

At an open art guild room day, one of my painter friends set up a vase with artificial sunflowers as a still life. Looking through my stash, I found some suitably orange/yellow material, and opted to also do a still life! The vase and table both came from the same piece of fabric, though it hadn’t been my first selection for the table.

The dead leaves came from a different source than the leaves in the vase, but they seemed to be needed to balance elements. The flowers themselves are only sewn down at their centers.
