Dark Stream

Description

This month was a productive one for me, and somehow I had totally overlooked putting this piece up here for over a year — but I had signed and dated it, and actually photographed it only a couple months after it was made, and now that it has emerged from my storage, it is time to give it its place!

Dark Stream uses two fabrics with gold veining, in the stream and in the background, plus a number of my foliage fabrics. Some of the special stitches on my sewing machine created the more delicate growth on the far side of the stream, with beads to form some flowers. And along the far shore of the stream are some rocks for a bit more texture.
