Deep in the Woods

Description

This winter I was going through my fabric stash, sorting it by color. I have a preponderance of greens, so I began pulling out the ones that spoke to me, along with just a bit of wood and stone patterns, and this is the result. I used some of my sewing machine’s leafy stitches, then added some fine glitter for some deep woods flowers, and some beads to add to the rocky foreground and the flowers.

The piece is dark, but even the deep of the woods is full of life!
