Floral Blue

Description

The day I laid this out, my palette, a bag of fabric scraps that I bring to the art guild studio, was quite strong on the blues, so that led me to this abstract piece. As is often the case, some pieces were scraps from clothing I made, the dark mottled blue at the top and the blue and white flowers on the left are from shirts now hanging in my closet, and the large leaves on the right show up in a shirt my husband has. The paisleys add a bit of red and pink, providing a bit of relief from all the blues!
