Springtime

Description

Here is a collage that was a long time in development, started in late winter and not completed until mid autumn. The main picture was not the obstacle, rather the clearing around the tree. I went at first for some fabric pieces that overwhelmed the tree, and took that out, then went in for rather heavy beading, and likewise took that out, and replaced it with just a few beaded flowers and a bit of accent. The slight lean of the tree suggested it should perhaps have a swing, and that completed the picture.
